||The Hisaronu peninsula is one of the least discovered parts of the Turkish coast. It has many deserted bays with crystalline waters; a large number of informal archeological sites including ancient temples, churches and castles; as well as several beautiful picturesque villages such as Orhaniye, Selimiye and Sogut, with a great selection of good quality restaurants.
Bozburun, nearly at the tip of the peninsula, is a quaint little port from where boats can check in or out of the country to visit the near by Greek islands such as Symi. Bozburun also happens to have one of the premier boutique hotels in Turkey, the Bozburun Yacht Club. The hotel has elegant spacious rooms with delightful views of the surrounding mountains and small islands. With no road access, it is only accessible by boat and is therefore a highly private and exclusive spot to rest and relax. The restaurant is renowned in the area, serving traditional regional dishes made with only the best organic local produce. During the summer month’s reservations for the restaurant can be hard to come by unless you are a guest at the hotel. This being a yacht club there are also plenty activities to keep you active and busy if you wish, the great sailing and watersports are an obvious choice.
